Who we are

The Qm Group was founded in 1991, by Terry Green and Martin Christie. This combined Martin's inventive flair (mums and dads have him to thank for wireless baby alarms) and Terry's marketing and analytical skills.

The company was formed to explore another of Martin's inventions – the world's first audio-based electronic call forward queueing system perhaps best known as 'Cashier number 3 please' (the first voice for which, incidentally, was Terry Green. He's now just as hands-on, if not as 'voice-on').
