SQ. Linear Queue Systems

If you've ever heard 'Cashier no. 3 please', you've heard the world's first audio-based SQ call forward queueing system in action.

SQ offers the simplest solution when, as in a Post Office, it doesn't matter which cashier you see (because they all offer the same service).

Consumers are directed to the next available service point by a digital voice and visual display. So consumers are served in the order they arrive. That's fair and reassuring for your consumers and shows them that you value their time – a very positive brand message.

With an SQ system, you'll optimise consumer throughput and maintain the most efficient level of service, despite variable transaction times.

The system was initially developed for the Post Office and the first system was installed in 1991. It is now used by 30 million shoppers a month.

SQV. Vision For Linear Queues

SQV takes the concept of a single queue, call forward system into the age of in-store media by adding a 20" display at the head of the queue to deliver your message to waiting consumers.

Because time flies when you're having fun, SQV can reduce consumers' perceived queueing time by up to 50% and, at the same time, you have an excellent cross-selling opportunity.

The content can be updated by flash card or remotely – which allows for central distribution to multiple outlets in a controlled and timely way.

To fully capitalise on the waiting experience™, SQV can be coupled with our 'Guideline® Impulse' (In-Queue Merchandising) system.

DQ. Non-Linear Queue Call Forward

What does a Local Council office or High Street bank have in common with a delicatessen counter?
Answer: Non-Linear Queue Call Forward. Who'd have thought it.

With this relaxed, yet efficient approach, consumers are served in the order they arrive but there's no visible line of waiting people. The consumer simply takes a ticket and waits their turn which is shown on the highly visible numeric displays.

So consumers are more relaxed and free to browse – which presents further sales opportunities - and sales staff feel less stressed.

Because the queue is effectively dispersed in the available space, a DQ system is ideal for situations where floor space is limited and/or when transaction times are of variable length. This effective solution has come a long way from the deli counter.
